Abstract

  This research entitled “A Model Study of Peacefully Coexisting Community with Different Religions in Wat Kalya Sub-District, Thonburi District, Bangkok” is of three objectives; i.e., (1) to study Social theories and religious teachings on peacefully coexisting among Buddhists, Christians and Muslims; (2) to study peacefully coexisting of community in Wat Kalya Sub-District, Thonburi District, Bangkok; and (3) to analyze and apply the way of peaceful coexisting of the said community for Thai society.

Results of the research are as following 
The Social peaceful happiness is desirable for all community. People come to join together to settle down their shower in any place in order to receive protection and advantages of each other, in Wat Kalya Community is of 0.785        Sq. Kilometers, comprising of six groups of community with population of 10,509 in number. Members of the community have roles in the development of their local areas into cleanliness and good conditions, especially the perfect infrastructure. People in the community are of Buddhists, Christians, and Muslims, though different faiths yet harmony in unity while each group is in the status of loving-kindness, generosity, and faithful-religious spirit, thus makes community prosperous and peaceful happy.
That is because that anyone of them realizes of nationality. They are Thais, not aliens or foreigners in this land, the land of their ancestors, the birth and the last places of their bodies. All Thai nationals are regarded as their brothers and sisters. 
Wat Kalya Sub-District, Thonburi District, Bangkok, in spite of different religions, each faith teaches to do good and be a good man in society, with spirit of loving-kindness, generosity, and make a living in the right ways. What important for them which is regarded as highest is the “King of Thailand” which is the center of people’s heart in this country. The King is a Buddhist with a status as a patron of every religion in country. With love and royalty, they follow the steps of their H.M. the King onto the prosperity and happiness of the nation and people. This confidence provides the principle of peaceful coexisting of the community throughout Thailand.
