Abstract

The objectives of the research titled Socialization Process of Youths in Juvenile Observation and Protection Centre of Nakhonsawan Province as follow :           1. to study the opinion of the youths towards Socialization Process of Youths in Juvenile Observation and Protection Centre of Nakhonsawan Province, 2. to study the comparison of socialization process of the youth in Juvenile Observation and Protection Centre of Nakhonsawan Province, and 3. to study the problem, barrier  and suggestion opinions the development of Socialization Process of Youths in Juvenile Observation and Protection Centre of Nakhonsawan Province.

This research applied a quantitative research. The sample of the study was the youth in Regional Juvenile Vocational Training Centre 6 Nakhonsawan Province. The population of the study was Youths in Juvenile Observation and Protection Centre of Nakhonsawan Province which applied a survey research. The instrument of the study was the questionnaires. The analysis of data used Statistical Package for Social Science. The statistics used Frequency, Percentage, Mean, Standard deviation, T-Test, and F-Test by One Way Anova.

The results of the study found that

1. Overall, the youth had the opinion toward the socialization process of the youths in Juvenile Observation and Protection Centre of Nakhonsawan Province in high level for all aspects. When considering each aspect, it was found that the behavior in Sila at the second choice can practice according to five Precepts and behavior in Samadhi at the fifth choice can study the subject basing on systematical and mysterious thoughts, were in middle level, for the behavior in the other aspects was in high level.

2. For the comparison of the youths’ opinion toward the socialization process of the youth in Juvenile Observation and Protection Centre of Nakhonsawan Province by classifying on the personal factors: the youths had different opinion toward the socialization process of the youths in Juvenile Observation and Protection Centre of Nakhonsawan Province in age at 0.01 of statistical significance. The youths who ever took drugs had different opinion toward the socialization process of the youths in Juvenile Observation and Protection Centre of Nakhonsawan Province in the environment at 0.01 and 0.05 of statistical significance. The youths had different opinion toward the socialization process of the youths in Juvenile Observation and Protection Centre of Nakhonsawan Province in mistake at 0.05 of statistical significance. Moreover, the hypothesis was accepted.

3. For the suggestion towards Socialization Process of Youths in Juvenile Observation and Protection Centre of Nakhonsawan Province should encourage Youths in Juvenile Observation and Protection Centre of Nakhonsawan Province to join the training and self-development according to the Threefold Learning in order to be the person who having the understanding of the principles of Buddha dhamma in a good way, good and right conducts, and good company, should encourage the activity of Dhamma practice according to Buddhism in daily life in order to realize and appreciate in the principles of Buddhism focusing on bring the religious principles to apply in the basis of activity in daily routines.
