Abstract

              The title of Research is the code of ethics of Teaching Profession: A case study of secondary schools in Muaeng district,Samut Prakarn province. The main Objectives: 1) to study the Characteristics of teachers on Professional ethics of teachers 2) to compare  the Characteristics of teachers on Professional ethics of teachers 3) to study problems about the professional ethics of teachers by teachers in secondary schools. Samples group are administrators and teachers in secondary schools Muaeng district, Samut Prakarn province, out of  170 people. The tools used in this study was a questionnaire.  The statistics used estimate of the average and mean and standard deviation. ANOVA One-Way ANOVA

The results showed that

              The opinion of Administrators and teachers towards the code of ethics of teaching profession : A case study of secondary schools in Muaeng district, Samut Prakarn province .There are three schools by overall in the 9 items which were high level. When considering by each item  was found  that  administrators and teachers  need to teaching , training  ,create knowledge for themselves  were  the highest level. The teachers love and compassion to their students . Teachers do not  act against their own progress towards their profession. Teachers must behave as a good role model for students, their professional development and support and assist teachers’ friend  in creating a harmonious community  were high level respectively.

              The comparison to the opinions of administrators and teachers by the characteristics of teachers on professional ethics of teachers of the three schools overall of ninth in fundamental factors of  administrators and teachers by gender, age, position, qualifications, work experience of administrators and teachers in  secondary School, muaeng  district, Samut prakarn province which were not significantly different at  .05 level.

The suggestion of the Characteristics of teachers on Professional ethics of teachers of 9 items  by  overall  found that  teachers should  be trained  the knowledge to teach the students in the school.   Students must abide by the rules and discipline of the school's behavior over this and to behave as a role model for students. Some teachers do their enmity to their prosperity such as no code of conduct in their profession and encourage teachers to have morals and ethics
