ABSTRACT

The study was conducted with mixed method research consists of qualitative research and quantitative research with the three main objectives, ; (1) to study The roles of Watraikhing enhancing the quality of life in Tambon Rai Khing, Sampran District, Nakhonpathom Province, (2) to compare the roles of Watraikhing Enhancing the Quality of Life in Tambon Rai Khing, Sampran District, Nakhonpathom Province, and (3) to study problems, obstacles and suggestions the roles of Watraikhing enhancing the quality of life in Tambon Rai Khing, Sampran District, Nakhonpathom Province. The research was conducted by the quantitative data collected from a sample of people living in the District, Nakhon Pathom Province Raikhing Sampran for 377 people is by way of a random cluster. The tool used for data collection consisted of questionnaires to analyze data by frequency percentage, mean, standard deviation (S.D), hypothesis tested with T-test and F-test or One-Way ANOVA for more than 3 valued variables. In case the differentiation was found, it was compared by Least Significant Difference : LSD. The data is collected by means of interviews with key informants interviewed by the 5 person analysis of the data using content analysis.

The results of research are found that ;

1. The role of Wat Rai Khing to the promotion of quality of life for residents in Tambon Raikhing, Sampran District, Nakornpathom Province, as in the public opinion overall is at the high level.

2. Comparing the role of Wat Rai Khing to the promotion of quality of life for residents in Tambon Rai Khing in Nakhon Pathom, hypothesis testing, analysis of different variables were gender, age, income and occupation as a result, public opinion on the role of Wat Rai Khing to the promotion of quality of life for residents in Tambon Rai Khing in Nakhon Pathom has no difference. The hypothesis is rejected at the polls. Their level of education indicals difference in statistically significant at the 0.01 level, which is the assumption set.

3. The interviews revealed that Wat Rai Khing role in promoting the quality of life in Tambol Rai Khing, Sampran District, in Nakhon Pathom Province are very entrepreneurial role by the monks to promote the quality of life which consists of six areas of cooperation in the administration, eccliesiastical education, education support, Buddhist propagation, Buddhist Constructions and Reparations and Public Welfare.

4. Suggestions about the role of Wat Rai Khing to the promotion of quality of life for residents in Tambol Rai Khing in Nakhon Pathom Province are that Wat Rai Khing should have a proactive plan to Buddhist Propagation, because people do not pay attention. Wat Rai Khing has for approach to people as much as possible. Missionary to the public to be aware of the advantages and disadvantages of living to the lives of people in the right way for the public to others and society.
