ABSTRACT

              The main objectives of this research are i) to study the life quality development of recruited military men of Buriram Army Province in accordance with Brahmavihara IV, ii) to compare the life quality development of recruited military men of Buriram Army Province in accordance with Brahmavihara IV classified by personal factors, and iii) to study the problems and suggested solving guidelines of the life quality development of recruited military men of Buriram Army Province in accordance with Brahmavihara IV. The survey research was used for this study. The sample of this research consisted of 300 recruited military men of Buriram Army Province, drawn by simple random sampling technique. Tool for data collected was questionnaire with the value of reliability equal to 0.879.

              The collected data were analyzed by employing statistical programme for social research using basic statistics such as frequencies, percentage, mean and standard deviation. To test the hypotheses, one way ANOVA was used and the statistically significant difference was at .05 level.

              The main findings of this research are concluded as follows :-

              Overall the life quality development of recruited military men of Buriram Army Province in accordance with Brahmavihara IV was rated at high level, when being considered in each aspect of Brahmavihara IV, the research found that recruited military men of Buriram Army Province ranked it at the high levels at all aspects.     With regard to comparison of the life quality development of recruited military men of Buriram Army Province in accordance with Brahmavihara IV, classified by personal factors, age, level of education and family status  were noted no significant differences even at .05 level. Regarding to problems and obstacles  of the life quality development of recruited military men of Buriram Army Province in accordance with Brahmavihara IV, it was found that administrators were not so kind to recruited military men, there was emotional in passing order, rare taking care of them, sometimes there was on chance given for justification when doing wrong, lack of morale from administrators, rare support for high knowledge acquirement among recruited military men, sometimes there was no incentive and morale in good deeds, there was some inequality in treating them and lack of giving information about rules, regulations and orders. Suggestions for improvement were noted as follows : there should be more kind to recruited military men, limitation of using power/authority, more reasonable than emotional order, more interesting in the welfares of them, giving the opportunity to justify all allegations, support and creation of morale/incentives to them, let them acquire their knowledge and capacity, always please those who have good deeds, equal treatment must given to all of them and all rules, regulations and orders must regularly be informed to recruited military men.
