Abstract

 

ABSTRACT

                       The purpose of this research to study and compare the attitude of teachers and students towards monk teachers in Thonburi district, Bangkok Education Service Area Office 3. The samples of research were 403 of teachers and students. The tools were questionnaires rating scale 5 levels. The Statistics for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. t-test and One-way ANOVA were used to test the significant differences at .05 level.

The study revealed that:

                       1. The attitude of teachers towards monk teachers in schools of Thonburi district, Bangkok Education Service Area office 3. For overall aspects were at high level. When considering in each aspect found that all seven aspects were at the high level, Sorting by items with the most mean to the least were as : the personality, teaching preparation, teaching operation, teaching methods, creating atmosphere in the class, assessment and evaluation, and teaching by using media and materials.

                       2. The attitude of students towards monk teachers in schools of Thonburi district, Bangkok Education Service Area office 3. For overall aspects were at high level. When considering in each aspect found that all seven aspects were at the high level, Sorting by items with the most mean to the least were as : the personality, teaching preparation, teaching operation, teaching by using media and materials, creating atmosphere in the class, teaching methods and assessment and evaluation.

                       3. The result of comparative the attitude of teachers and students towards monk teachers in schools of Thonburi district, Bangkok Education Service Area office 3. Classifying with sex and education of teachers and Buddhist education of students found that were not different. When classifying with ages and general education of students found that were significantly different at .05 level.

                       4. The result of comparative about attitude of teachers and students towards monk teachers in Thonburi district Bangkok Education Service Area Office 3 found that overall aspects were significantly different at .05 level. When considering in each aspect found that the attitude of teachers and students on the personality was not different. But on the 6 aspects were different as teaching preparation, teaching operation, assessment and evaluation, teaching by using media and materials, creating atmosphere in the class, teaching methods. The attitude of students at the higher level than teachers all 6 aspects were significantly different at .05 level.
