ABSTRACT
The objectives of this research were to study the participations in Buddhist activities and the practices of Buddhist Teachings and to compare changes in the moral behaviors of lower secondary school students of Wat Puranawas Secondary School.
1. For participation in the Buddhist activities the research findings are as follows :
held in Watpuranawas school it was found that the participation in Buddhist activation of lower secondary school student, as a whole, were in the middle level.
2. For Following Buddhist Teachings, it revealed that the students of Watpuranawas school as a whole, were in the middle level for three aspects. When considering each aspect, it was the students come first for practicing according to the duties of Buddhist, come second for practicing Buddhist teachings in Buddhist holidays and come third for mental and intellectual development.
3. For Comparison of participation in Buddhist activities affecting changes in moral behavior of the students, it was found that overall the students were not different in their opinions about the practicing. When classified by sexes, ages, level of education, relationships with their present guardians and occupation of parents, it was found that compliance with the principle of Buddhist teaching of lower secondary school students to watpuranawat School was not different in three at .05 level.
4. Suggestions school activities should be significant merit in Buddhism continues. Should be a creative activity. Have fun with thorough care regulations. Advice in performing good acts Buddhists. Students are encouraged to behave in a law 5 and the appropriate time. In meditation the better. |
