Abstract

 

ABSTRACT

 This study was aiming (1) to study the role lf Buddhist Monks in teaching Buddhism in Primary School The Bangkok Educational Service Area Office 1 (2) to compare the opinion of administrators, teachers and students upon the role of Buddhist Monks in teaching Buddhism in Primary schools the Bangkok Educational Service Area Office 1 and (3) to study problems, difficulties and suggestions on the role of Buddhist Monks in teaching Buddhism in Primary schools the Bangkok Educational Service Area. The samples of the study  39 Administrators and teachers, and 101 students total 140 populations. The tools of data collection were a questionnaire with the simple random sampling up on the table of krejcie & Morgan using  to choose  5 schools of all primary  schools. The  Bangkok  Educational Service Area Office1. Statistics used for the data analysis included, Mean, Percentage, Standard Deviation. t-test , One-Way Analysis of Variance the statistics use Spss program  on  computer.   

 

 

 

 

The results of the research:

1.  The roles of Sangha to teaching Buddhism Subject in the Primary Schools the Bangkok Educational Service Area Office 1. The opinion of guardians’ students overall found that all aspects were in the high level. When considering in each aspect by arranging order from high to low found that the modeling, the following result and teaching were in the high.

2. The result of comparative analyzing the roles of Sangha to teaching Buddhism Subject in the Primary Schools the Bangkok Educational Service Area Office 1. The opinion of guardians’ students distinguished by sex overall found that not significantly different at .05 level.

3. The result of comparative analyzing the roles of Sangha to teaching Buddhism Subject in the Primary Schools the Bangkok Educational Service Area Office 1. The opinions of guardians’ students distinguished by age, education degree and occupation of guardians by One-Way Analysis of Variance the statistics were able sum up as follow:

1) Distinguishing by age overall found that was significantly different at .05 level. When considering each aspect of teaching, modeling, following the result was significantly different at .05 level.

2) Distinguishing by education degrees overall found that was significantly different at .05 level. When considering each aspect of teaching, modeling, following the result was significantly different at .05 level.

3) Distinguishing by occupations overall found that was significantly different at .05 level. When considering each aspect of teaching, modeling, following the result was significantly different at .05 level.
