ABSTRACT

                  The objectives of this research are (1) to study the performance of quality assurance in primary schools under the education Area office, Ayutthaya, and (2) to compare the performance of quality assurance in primary schools. Classified by sex, age, education position work experience as perceived by administrators and teachers in primary schools researchers have studied the sample of 320 people tools used in this study were employed. Data were analyzed by a computer program package. Statistics are percentage mean standard deviation test t (t-test) and one-way analysis of variance (one way anova).

                  The  findings  revealed that:

                  Overall, the quality assurance performance of primary schools under the Office of Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya Educational Service Area 1 was at a high level that the average was (4.40). When each aspect was considered, it was found that the average was at the high level to the highest level by ranking respectively as follows: education standard of procedures (4.57), education standard of factors (4.35), and education standard of learners (4.34).

                  The comparison of the quality assurance performance of primary schools under the Office of Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya Educational Service Area 1 that was divided by personal factors showed that:

                  1.    Genders, as a whole, had no effect upon the quality assurance performance of primary schools under the Office of Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya Educational Service Area 1.  

                        2.    Ages, as a whole, had no effect upon the quality assurance performance of primary schools under the Office of Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya Educational Service Area 1.  

                        3.    Educational qualifications, as a whole, had no effect upon the quality assurance performance of primary schools under the Office of Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya Educational Service Area 1.   

                  4.    Positions, as a whole, had no effect upon the quality assurance performance of primary schools under the Office of Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya Educational Service Area 1.  

                        5.    Experiences, as a whole, had no effect upon the quality assurance performance of primary schools under the Office of Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya Educational Service Area 1 at a significant level of 05.
