Abstract

 

ABSTRACT

The purposes of this study were: 1) Theoretical concerming  Bachelor of Arts Program in Social Studies Faculty of Education Mahachulalongkornrajvidyalaya University 2) to study suggestions and recommendations on Bachelor of Arts Program in Social Studies Faculty of Education Mahachulalongkornrajvidyalaya  University.  By using CIPP model: 1) Context; the philosophy, the objectives, the structures and the subjects of curriculum, the contents of subjects 2) Input; teachers, budgets, resources of learning, text-books and teaching materials 3) Process; curriculum administration, the teaching-learning arrangement, activities arrangement, measurement and evaluation 4) Product; qualities of students. In the research, 109 populations consist of 6 administrators, 8 teachers, the 95 person of first-fourth year. The instrument for collecting data was the questionnaire. The data were analyzed by statistics are frequency, mean and standard deviation.  

The findings revealed that:

1. Context: Teachers, students and administrators opined the philosophy, the objectives, the structures and the subjects of curriculum, the contents of subjects were at the much level.   

2. Input: Administrators and students opined teachers were at the much level. Teachers, students and administrators opined resources of learning, text-books and teaching materials were at the much level. Teachers and administrators opined budgets were at the medium level.

3. Process: Teachers opined the curriculum administration was at the much level. Students and administrators opined were at the medium level. Teachers and administrators opined teaching-learning arrangement were at the much level and students opined at the medium level. Teachers and administrators opined the measurement and the evaluation were at the much level and students opined at the medium level.

4. Product: Teachers, administrators and guardians opined the qualities of the students were at the much level.
