ABSTRACT
The main objectives of the study entitled “Satisfaction of Guardians toward Academic Services of Administrators and Teachers of Phrasamutjedi Kindergarten School, Office of Samutprakarn Educational Service Area I” were: i) to study the level of satisfaction of guardians toward academic services of administrators and teachers of Phrasamutjedi Kindergarten School, Office of Samutprakarn Educational service Area I, ii) to compare satisfaction of guardians toward academic services of administrators and teachers of Phrasamutjedi Kindergarten School, and iii) to study problems, obstacles and suggestions of guardians toward academic services of administrators and teachers of Phrasamutjedi Kindergarten School, Office of Samutprakarn Educational service Area I. Survey research was carried out in this study. Sample of this study consisted of 350 guardians of students studying in Phrasamutjedi Kindergarten School, Office of Samutprakarn Educational service Area I, being drawn by random sampling technique. The statistics used in this research were Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, T- test and the One-Way Analysis of Variance.
The results of the research were concluded as follows :
1. The overall satisfaction of guardians toward academic services of administrators and teachers of Phrasamutjedi Kindergarten School, Office of Samutprakarn Educational service Area I was rated at the high level. But when taken into consideration in each aspect, it was found at the high level in two aspects i.e. organization of leaning activities and services for those coming to visit school rendered by teachers, whereas other aspects, namely, learning media and materials services, information and technology services for students’ guardians, were noticed at average levels
2. The result of comparison of satisfaction of guardians toward academic services of administrators and teachers of Phrasamutjedi Kindergarten School, Office of Samutprakarn Educational service Area I, showed no significant differences even at .05 level, thus rejecting the formulated hypotheses.
3. With regard to the suggestions of guardians toward academic services of administrators and teachers of Phrasamutjedi Kindergarten School, Office of Samutprakarn Educational service Area I, the study indicated that: i) school should manage time suitable for early aging boys and girls, ii) number of child fields should additionally provided, iii) number of personnel to look after children for their safeties should be increased, iv) information and technology services, v) learning activities increasingly provided both in Thai and English languages, vi) learning media and materials and support for integrated learning media production, and vii) specific reception rooms and area should be provided. |
