ABSTRACT
The main objectives of this research are: i) to study the knowledge and understanding of Trisikkha of teachers and students of Buddhist denominational schools in Bangkhuntein, Bangkok, ii) to study the human resource practice according to Trisikkha of teachers and students of Buddhist denominational schools in Bangkhuntein, Bangkok, and iii) to study the guidelines for development of the human resource according to Trisikkha of teachers and students of Buddhist denominational schools in Bangkhuntein, Bangkok. The 101 teachers and students of Buddhist denominational schools in Bangkhuntein, Bangkok, constituted sample of this study, being chosen by simple random sampling technique. The tool used for data collection was the questionnaire with the reliability value equal to 0.95. Program for social science research was employed for data analysis by using statistical techniques such as frequencies, percentage, average, standard deviation (S.D) for describing data from variables or personal characteristics.
The results of this study were concluded as follows:
The overall knowledge and understanding of Trisikkha of teachers and students of Buddhist denominational schools in Bangkhuntein, Bangkok,were found at the high level. Having considered by that of teachers and students, students had rated it at the moderate level.
With regard to the human resource practice according to Trisikkha of teachers and students of Buddhist denominational schools in Bangkhuntein, Bangkok, it was noticed at the high level from the view of teachers, while it found at moderate one from that of students.
Regarding to the guidelines for development of the human resource according to Trisikkha of teachers and students of Buddhist denominational schools in Bangkhuntein, Bangkok, it was classified into three aspects, namely: i) human resource development in higher morality, in this category, personnel should be trained to understand their states and monks should be invited to teach morality in schools, school personnel should be participated in religious activities, there should be harmonious and creative activities among school personnel and clear rules and regulation of training should be done and implemented; ii) human resource development in higher mentality, in this one, personnel should be guided for meditation training and meditation practices should be regularly carried out in schools; and iii) human resource development in higher wisdom, in this category, there should be regular Dhamma practices and talks, schools should allot good Dhamma practitioners to guide and train school personnel to understand the principles of Buddhist morality and monks should be invited to preach Dhamma in Buddhist denominational schools. |
