Abstract

The objectives of this study were: 1) to study the satisfaction of people with Nongkrod Police Station Service According to Sangkahvuddhu iv, Nakorn Sawan Province, 2) to compare the satisfaction of people with Nongkrod Police Station Service According to Sangkahvuddhu iv, Nakorn Sawan Province by classifying on the personal factors, and 3) to study problems, barriers, and ways for improvement of the service according to Sangkahvuddhu iv with Nongkrod Police Station, Nakon Sawan Province.

This research applied Survey Research. The sample of the study was 375 people served from Nongkrod Police Station, Nakorn Sawan Province. The instrument of the study was the questionnaires. The analysis of data used Statistical Package for Social Science. The statistics used Frequency, Percentage, Mean, Standard deviation, t-test, and F-test by One Way ANOVA and Least Significant Difference: LSD at 0.05    of statistical significance.

The results of the study found that overall, the satisfaction of people with Nongkrod Police Station Service According to Sangkahvuddhu iv, Nakorn Sawan Province was in high level. When considering each aspect, it was found that the     satisfaction of the people on the service according to Sangkahvuddhu iv of Nongkrod Police Station, Nakorn Sawan Province in  Dana (giving) and Samanattata (equality consisting in impartiality) was in the highest level. However, the satisfaction of the people on the service according to Sangkahvuddhu iv of Nongkrod Police Station, Nakon Sawan Province in Atthacariya (useful conduct) was in the lowest level.

For the comparison of the satisfaction of the people on the service according to Sangkahvuddhu iv of Nongkrod Police Station, Nakon Sawan Province by classifying on the personal factors, it was found that the age and educational degrees were the factors that influenced the different satisfaction of the people on the service according to Sangkahvuddhu iv of Nongkrod Police Station, Nakon Sawan Province at 0.05 of statistical significance.  However, the sex and the occupations were the factors that did not influence the different satisfaction of the people on the service according to Sangkahvuddhu iv of Nongkrod Police Station, Nakon Sawan Province at 0.05 of statistical significance.

The problems and the barriers of the service according to Sangkahvuddhu iv of Nongkrod Police Station, Nakon Sawan Province was the people did not understand the steps and the time in working of the police officers. The police officers talked impolitely and were inactive in helping the people. Moreover, the police officers did the discrimination. The ways for the improvement of the service according to Sangkahvuddhu iv of Nongkrod Police Station, Nakon Sawan Province were that the police officers should develop the service effectively, have the ethical training and apply the Sangkahvuddhu iv in the working. Moreover, the police officers should focus on the service that the people satisfied as well as the sentence “Civil protection services like family, like a relative.”
