ABSTRACT

The objectives of this study were: 1) to study level of life quality according to the Buddhist approach of the people in ChumsangsongkhramSubdistrict administrative organization in Bangrakam District, Phitsanulok Province, 2) to compare the people’s opinion toward the level of life quality according to the Buddhist approach of the people in ChumsangsongkhramSubdistrict administrative organization in Bangrakam District, Phitsanulok Province by classifying on the personal factors, and 3) to study problems, barriers, and suggestions for the development  of the level of life quality according to the Buddhist approach of the people in ChumsangsongkhramSubdistrict administrative organization in Bangrakam District, Phitsanulok Province.

This research applied Survey Research. The sample of the study was 369 people in Chumsangsongkhram Sub-district administrative organization in Bangrakam District, Phitsanulok Province. The instrument of the study was the questionnaires. The analysis of data used Statistical Package for Social Science. The statistics used Frequency, Percentage, Mean, Standard deviation, t-test, One Way ANOVA, and Least Significant Difference: LSD.

The results of the study found that overall, the people had the opinion toward the life quality according to the Buddhist approach of the people in ChumsangsongkhramSubdistrict administrative organization in Bangrakam District, Phitsanulok Province in high level. When considering each aspect, it was found that the people had the opinion toward the life quality according to the Buddhist approach of the people in ChumsangsongkhramSubdistrict administrative organization in Bangrakam District, Phitsanulok Province in high level for all aspects.

For the comparison of the people’s opinion toward the life quality according to the Buddhist approach of the people in ChumsangsongkhramSubdistrict administrative organization in Bangrakam District, Phitsanulok Province by classifying on the personal factors: sex, age, educational degree, occupation, and income, it was found that the people had no different opinion toward the life quality according to the Buddhist approach of the people in ChumsangsongkhramSubdistrict administrative organization in Bangrakam District, Phitsanulok Province.

The suggestions for the life quality according to the Buddhist approach of the people in ChumsangsongkhramSubdistrict administrative organization in Bangrakam District, Phitsanulok Province were:

For Dana (giving), the organization should increase the helping the people rapidly, provide the water to use and drink sufficiently for the people’s need, provide the place for the advertisement to announce the news and information to the people, and organize the significance and the helping for the people.

For Sila (morality), the organization should set the regulation and the procedure in the working of the staffs clearly. The staffs should suggest the procedure in the service for the people to understand the procedure in the working of the staffs. The administrators should understand the significance of regulation and decrease the procedure in the service for the people.

For Bhavana (development), the organization should provide the training for the staffs, investigate outside the organization to increase the skills and develop the potential to the staffs. Moreover, the staffs should give the understanding for the people about the projects of the organization to promote the knowledge for the people.
