Abstract
This thesis is of three objectives, namely : 1) to study the concept and theories of leader, leadership, transformational leadership, the organization administration and the concept of leadership in Buddhism, 2) to study about Dr. Art-OngJumsai Na Ayudthya’stransformational leadership in organization administration and 3) to apply the knowledge of Dr. Art-OngJumsai Na Ayudthya’stransformational leadership in organization administration for society.The Research Methologyconsists of 1)Primary resource : the in–depth interview with the people concerning and 2) Secondary resource : the studying from the multimedia, programmes on television, documents, books, textbooks, researches involving.
From the research, as for the organization administration, the study revealsthat Dr. Art-OngJumsai NaAyudthyais the real transformational leader. He clearly behaves himself as a good transformational leader , following the four behaviours of transformational leaders according to Bass &Avolio’s theory, i.e.,1) Idealized leadership : The leader behaves himself morally , that he can be the idol for the followers. 2) Inspiration Motivation : The leader can light up the inspiration of the followers, to make them understand the organization vision, and try to reach the aim. 3) Intellectual Stimulation: The leader can stimulate the followers to use the intellectual in order to live , work and solve the problems. 4) Individualized Consideration : The leader pay attention in the followers individually, to make them warm and encourage them to do good.
Dr. Art-Ong’s four behaviors , as mentioned before, have made him success as the chief executive in the administration of Satthyasai School. From the study, it is found that besides the lessons in the classes, Satthyasai School also educates men(students, teachers, officers and also the workers) to be the good people; according to the five concepts of the valuable human-being i.e., reality, loving – kindness, non-violence , good conduction and peace. Certainly, these are the firm foundation in people’s way of life in order to buildup not only benefit but also happiness bothfor oneself and for society.
From the research , it isfound that people who would like to be the good leaders can follow Dr. Art-Ong’sfour behaviors of transformational leadership as the way in developing themselves in order to be the desirable transformational leaders. That will certainly be good for oneself, for the organizations and for society as well.
