Abstract

The objectives of this research are : 1) to study the efficiency in a community   service according to four paths of accomplishment of Bangsue Municipality Office, Bangkok, 2) to compare public opinion towards the efficiency in a community service according to four paths of accomplishments of Bangsue Municipality Office, Bangkok, classified by personal factors, and 3) to study  problems and suggestions related to efficiency in a community service according to four paths of accomplishment of Bangsue Municipality Office, Bangkok. This study used a mixed methodology by quantitative research (Survey Research) and qualitative research (Qualitative Research) using in-depth interviews with the key Informants. The sample of this study consisted of 338 persons living in the area of Bangsue Municipality, Bangkok, drawn by simple random sampling technique.   Statistical techniques used for data analysis are Descriptive Statistics comprising frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation and Inferential Statistics such as   t-test and One-WAY ANOVA or F-test. If the differences were significant statistically, the methods of LSD (Least  Significant Difference). The data collected from key informants by method of In-depth Interview are analyzed by Content Analysis technique.

The findings of this study are concluded as follows:

          1. The overall public opinions towards efficiency in a community service according to four paths of accomplishments of Bangsue Municipality, Bangkok, have been found at the intermediate level ( =3.17) . When considering very carefully into each aspect, it is noted at intermediate levels in all aspects.

2.   A comparison of efficiency in the community service according to four paths to accomplishment of Bangsue Municipality , Bangkok , classified by personal factors, it is found that  people who have different  age, family status, level of education have no significant differences towards the efficiency of community service according to four paths of accomplishments of Bangsue Municipality, Bangkok, while people who have the different occupation and monthly incomes have the significant different opinion towards the efficiency of community service according to four paths of accomplishments of Bangsue Municipality Office, Bangkok.

3.   Regarding to problems, obstacles and suggestions to the efficiency of community service according to four paths of a accomplishments of Bangsue Municipality Office, Bangkok, the study reveals that:

1) Aspiration (Chanda), the officials who do not have an aspiration to that job can make it short-coming

2) Effort (Viriya), the officials who do not have any effort to that job. Can couse it to be damaged

3) Thought (Citta), the officials who do not take care of a job make it not complete.

4) Investigation (Vimansa), the officials who do not analyze and examine that job cannot make it accomplished.
