Abstract
The objectives of this research were (1) study to Buddhism doctrine in Thamma IV Bala about the characteristics of leaders (2) study to opinion of non-life insurance business personnel for the characteristics of leaders to IV Bala (3) study problems obstacles and suggestions of non-life insurance industry personnel for apply Thamma IV Bala to business administration of leaders. Research methodology was quantitiatives research with a sample groups of non-life insurance business personnel in the Bangkok and Perimeter were 342 peoples, the instrument used to callent the data was constructed by the researcher. The reliability coefficient was 0.937 and the data analysize by frequency, percentage, mean and standard division. The testing t-test, F-test, One-way ANOVA analysis of varience.
Results of search are as follws :
1. Buddhism doctrine in Thamma IV Bala about the characteristics of leaders 4 essential such as: (1) Panya Bala – Characteristic in wisdom; academic Knowledge, omniscience, cleverness making a decision and direct. (2) Viriya Bala – Characteristic in Effort; attempt, undiscouragedly work, encourage oneself and good spirit. (3) Anavacha Bala - characteristic in the job no be bad; honesty, use principle of virtues and ethic for manage business, no be bad or exploit someone receive trouble. (4) Sangha Bala - characteristic in human relations; to build good friendship with 4 ways of showing kindliness to other people, 1) donation or giving material gifts to them 2) uttering kind words good feeling with them 3) performing beneficial action and rendering services to social 4) giving them equal treatment and oneself behaving properly in all circumstances.
2.Non-life insurance business personnel have opinion for the characteristic of leaders to IV Bala were found that overall, the four part at high level mean value = 3.70, when consider each side was also found that the characteristic of leaders to IV Bala in Panya Bala : at high level the mean of = 3.86, Viriya Bala : at high level the mean of = 3.69, Anavacha Bala : at high level the mean of = 3.88 and Sangaha Bala : at high level the mean of = 3.61
3. Problems obstacles and suggestions : Panya Bala: Leaders should be able to build strong knowledge management in organization continuously. Leaders should be more reasonable than to discuss in problem and management. Viriya Bala: Leaders should persuade subordinates to practice in the same direction together. Leaders must confront the truth in any circumstances. Anavacha Bala: Leaders must have integrity, fairness, no prejudices against subordinates. Leaders should practice professional ethics in management. Sangaha Bala: Leaders should support the research and development for organizational advancement to the universal standard. |
