Abstract
The objectives of this research were to study; 1) the Buddhism propagation of administrative monks at Phanomsarakarm District, Chachoengsao Province, 2) compare administrative monks’ opinions towards Buddhism propagation of administrative monks at Phanomsarakham District, Chacheongsao Province, and 3) methods and recommendations for Buddhism propagation of administrative monks at Phanomsarakarm District, Chachoengsao Province.
The research methodology was quantitative research using questionnaires to collect data from 61 samples who are administrative monks. Data were analyzed by statistics of frequency, mean, percentile and standard deviation. Hypotheses were tested by F- test and one way ANOVA.
Findings:
1. Administrative monks’ opinions towards the administrative monks’
Buddhism propagation were at high level with the average of 3.62. Considering by each aspect; the senders and messages were at high level with the average of 3.82
Media were at middle level with the average of 3.16 and the receivers collectively were at high level with the average of 3.66.
2. Comparing the administrative monks’ opinions towards the Buddhism
Propagations of administrative monks at Phanomsarakharm District, Chacheognsao Province, it was found that the administrative monks with different age, educational level had significantly different opinions towards the Buddhism Propagations of administrative monks at Phanomsarakharm District, Chachoegnsao Province at 0.05, denying the set hypotheses. Administrative monks with different work experience had significantly different opinions towards the Buddhism at 0.05 confirming the set hypotheses.
3. As for problems and recommendations for the Buddhism propagation
of administrative monks at Phanomsarakharm District, Chacheognsao Province were that there should be work planning to make the Buddhism propagation faithful, creating trust for local people to promote the faith in monks and Buddhism. Administrative monks should well behave in preaching and Dhamma talk. Preachers should learn how to select the topics that are appropriate to audiences. There should be audience study before accepting the invitation to preach. Preachers should continue educating themselves, learning how to select the appropriate topics to the audiences. There should be using new media for Dhamma dissemination as well. |
