This thesis is of three ofjectives, namely : 1. The concept of Freedom Jean Paul Sart’s Philosophy 2. The concept of Freedom Phra Bramagunabhorn’s (P.A. Payutto) in Buddhist Phislosophy 3. The Comparative Study of The Concept of Freedom by Jean Paul sart and Phra Bramagunabhorn (P.A. Payutto).
This research is a qualitative one focusing on a study from documents such as the Tipitaka, Commentaries, and other connected documents. From the research, it is found that: Mr. Jean Paul Sart had the opinion that the human beings have the freedom, the truth and Freedom, the face in world, depending on the understanding and the translating the meaning of each and every person. When the human beings have the Freedom in selecting the Freedom by themselves, they must have the responsibility for themselves and human beings.
Phra Bramagunabhorn (P.A.Payutto) viewpoint about the Buddhist Philosophy is that the human beings are born with potentialities to develop themselves and can change themselves from the states of being the ordinary persons to the states of being noble persons. Of the human beings receive the right education and the right development of themselves they shall receive the Freedom. Thus, in Theravada Buddhist Philosophy, the human beings must train themselves in observing the precepts and developing the concentration and wisdom in compliance with one another.
The viewpoint about the freedom both in Theravada and in to Jean Paul Sarte is Philosophy, aims to cause the human beings to carry out their lives Freely without the God’s help or anything beyond the nature. The human being must depend on the actions (Kammas) which have been done by themselves. This means that both the Buddhist Philosophy and Jean Paul Sarte Is Philosophy showed that the world and the human beings’ lives are what all the human beings must be responsible together to live together happily and peacefully. The principles of Teaching about the Freedom in Buddhist Philosophy and in Jean Paul Sarte is Philosophy aims to cause the practices to attain the important targets in Freedom and full responsibility for the action done by them, because the world and the societies and of happiness or suffering depending on the human beings’ usage of Freedom. |
