ABSTRACT
The thesis had the following objectives: 1) to study the personnel management based on the principles of the Gharavasa-dhamma (virtues for a good household life) of the administrators in schools under the Office of Khonkaen Primary Educational Service Area 1, 2) to do comparative study of the personnel administration based on the principles of the Gharavasa-dhamma of the administrators in schools in the area of Ban Fang district under the Office of Khonkaen Primary Educational Service Area , in accorded with the variable factors of the individuals work-experience and profession, 3) to study the methods and process in implementing Gharavasa-dhamma in administration of administrators in schools under the Office of Khonkaen Primary Educational Service Area 1. The populations used in this study were administrators and teacher, 200 in total. The tool for research was questionnaire, statistic applied in this study were Frequency, Means, Standard Deviation (S.D.), T-test independent, F-test, and concluded with Scheffe’s method of comparison in accessing to the method and process of implementing Gharavasa-dhamma with content analysis.
The result of the study found that: The Means and Standard Deviation (S.D.) of attitude of the educational administrators and teachers over the personnel administration based on Gharavasa-dhamma in administrating the schools in the area of Ban Fang district under at the Office of Khonkaen Primary Educational Service Area 1 found that, at the whole picture resulted in high scale (Mean = 3.88) . While, ascertaining in each aspect, all aspects resulted in high scale, categorizing from the largest to the smallest as Sacca: truth and honesty (Mean = 3.99); Dama: taming and training oneself (Mean = 3.93); Khanti: tolerance (Mean = 3.79); and Caga: liberality or generosity (Mean = 3.79).
For the comparative approach of the attitude of the teachers and administrators over the personnel administration at the schools in the area of Ban Fang district under the Office of Khonkaen Primary Educational Service Area 1, the study found that those administrators and teachers who had different works-experience and position had different attitude over the personnel administration based on Gharavasa-dhamma in administrating the schools of the administrators in the area of Ban Fang district under the Office of Khonkaen Primary Educational Service Area 1, at the whole picture had the remarkable statistical significance at .01 which agreed to the set hypothesis. When, examining in each aspect, the study found that administrators and teachers had the same attitude in the case of Khanti; there was some difference in the case of Caga which had the remarkable statistical significance at .05. Moreover, Sacca and Dama were different and it had remarkable statistical significance at .01. However, those administrators and teachers who had different work-experience, at the whole, had different attitude and had remarkable statistical significance at .01. Thus, this opposed to the set hypothesis. While examining in each aspect, the study found that the administrators and teachers had the same attitude in the case of Khanti and Caga. But, in the case of Sacca and Dama had some difference and had remarkable statistical significance at .01.
This study found that the method and process in personnel management based on Gharavasa-dhamma in administrating the schools, according to the attitude of the administrators and teachers at schools under the Office of Khonkaen Primary Educational Service Area I, was to encourage the school to promote the virtues for a good household life, especially, be honest to each other, self-training, be patient, and be generated. Especially, the administrators should foster the principles of Sacca into practice in order to improve and develop the organization with remarkable progress. |
