Abstract

 

ABSTRACT

This research had 2 main objectives 1) to study the learning and teaching of buddhist subject in primary schools Thonburi district office Bangkok, 2) to  compare of the students to  learning and teaching of buddhist subject in primary schools Thonburi district office Bangkok. They were classified according to sex, age, education level.

This is a quantitative research using the questionnaire. The samples used in this study were the 297 students at Watprayurawong school, Watdownkanong school, Watkrajabphinit school, Watvisajkan school and Watkanlaya school, who had primary school at level 1-6.  Analysis of data use the software package. The statistical procedures used for analyzing data were percentage, mean,standard deviation ; t-test and one way analysis of variance (One-Way ANOVA).

The results of research were found that :

Opinions on the leaning and teaching of buddhist subject in primary schools  found that the students have commented on the high level overview.  When commenting on each side has found the measurement and evaluation are the highest, followed by the location and the environment, the teaching and learning activities, using the medium of instruction, the activities is the lowest of the content of the course.

 

 

 

The research in the field as perceived by the students found the purpose of the course is flexible fit the age of the students, the learning and teaching focus to child center and  use  of  the folk wisdom.  Using the medium of instruction in accordance with the content and easy to know, the location and the environment appropriate to the students and conducive to  the  teaching and learning and activities.  With special guest speaker lectures, organizations are involved in teaching and measurement and evaluation is based on the fact.

Comparative analysis of the opinions of the students by sex, age and education level found Students compound were not different to the learning and teaching of buddhist subject in primary schools.
