ABSTRACT
This research aimed to 1) to study status of ecclesiastical education management of Sangha in Banpong district, Ratchaburi province, 2) to compare the opinion of monks and novices per the status of ecclesiastical education management of Sangha in Banpong district, Ratchaburi province with different personal status, and 3) to examine the problems, obstacles and suggestions in development status of ecclesiastical education management of Sangha in Banpong district, Ratchaburi province. The research method is Mixed Research, quantitative research field study with monks and novices in Banpong district, Ratchaburi province - totaling 189. The tool for collecting data was as the questionnaire is both closed and open-ended. The Researcher used in data analysis were the frequency, percentage (%), mean ( ), standard deviation (S.D.), test the hypothesis by testing the value t-test and F-test, one way analysis of variance and least significant difference or LSD. And, qualitative research is the analysis of documents and interviews. The findings of this research are as follows :
1. The status of ecclesiastical education management of Sangha in Banpong district, Ratchaburi province was found that overall in high level at mean of 3.79, when considering the separation aspects has found that the monk of teaching Dhamma, the Building and Environment, the instruction media, and the measurement and evaluation in high level all aspect, the aspects that has the most value include the monk of teaching Dhamma at mean of 3.96, the aspects with the lowest mean include the instruction media at mean of 3.64.
2. The comparable results the opinion of monks and novices per the status of ecclesiastical education management of Sangha in Banpong district, Ratchaburi province with different personal status, test the hypothesis by analyzing the differences between the variables including status, age, general education level, Dhamma education, and Pali education of monks and novices the respondents was found that the personal status with age, and Pali education of monks and novices the respondents has results not different - this does not match the hypothesis. Those personal statuses are status, general education level, and Dhamma education has results the significantly different at the 0.01 level - this match the hypothesis.
3. The suggestions and guideline in development status dhamma education process of Sangha in Banpong district, Ratchaburi province by aspects of the study 4 aspect:
3.1 The monk of teaching Dhamma the guideline in development status dhamma education process include teacher recruitment of a sufficient number and appropriate for the number of students, or the teacher and the students of each school to learning together in the form of religious education at the sub-district, the technical education training for teachers to be able to motivate and interest students, and the teacher acts teaching as a full teaching schedule.
3.2 The Building and Environment the guideline in development status dhamma education process include the venues for the independent teaching, the air conditioning or fans in the classroom or planting trees to shade light to the classroom in the afternoon, and should be opportunity to change locations due to stress to students.
3.3 The instruction media the guideline in development status dhamma education process include the budget allocation for the purchase of equipment teaching by the Buddhist is part of their contribution to the fund for the education of monks and novices to the Office of Religious Education, the books teach and textbooks to the students to the same standard and the choice of materials to suit the conditions of the classroom.
3.4 The measurement and evaluation the guideline in development status dhamma education process include training and technical knowledge about the measurement and evaluation of teaching by highly qualified speakers to educate the educators, and the integrated form of measurement and evaluation by analysis and synthesis for applications in reality.
