ABSTRACT

The objectives of this research were in 3 folds:  1) to study the Buddhist ways of disseminating Buddhism, 2) to study the Roles of disseminating Buddhism of Phrarajaphatcharaporn and 3) to study an application of the concept of disseminating Buddhism of Pharajaphatcharaporn. This research applied the documentary research with collecting data from Tipitaka, commentaries, sub-commentaries, documents and relevant researches. And the summary of the research used presenting the descriptive results of the research.

The findings of the study were as follows: The Buddhist ways of disseminating Buddhism, the Buddha used management of the great Buddhist ways, namely, good system management, the planning of Buddhism declaration, the good management to be in the rules of discipline of the order, decentralization, the personnel management of the Buddhist Sangha who was authorized by the Buddha, the director of instruction in each time. He used motivating but not forced, used supremacy of the Dhamma (Dhammadhipateyya). He used the code of monastic discipline to take care of Buddhist Sangha, Dhamma talking, talking and answering the questions of Dhamma as an opportunity. He restrained the useless questions, taught in useful things to audiences, used the Buddhist ways of teaching amazingly, analyzed teachers, adopted the teachings suitably to teachers. However, when there was increasing of many Buddhists, he taught how to practice, to guide the implementation to be a real releasing from sufferings. Moreover, the learners would have known the reality of Dharma, when they practiced like that. As a result, Buddhism has been prosperous in the present.

The findings of the study were as follows: Phrarajaphatcharaporn brought methods of Buddhism, Dhamma and the Buddha’s teachings to apply suitably in the disseminating Buddhism in the current society so, should bring the model of disseminating Buddhism in the present age which will be make prosperous Buddhism further in the future. The study on the role of Phrarajaphatcharaporn, the Ecclesiastical Provincial Governor of Phetchabun Province found that the methods of disseminating Buddhism were suitable in the current society, a good organizational management is the most important and necessary things in disseminating Buddhism to be advancement of disseminating Buddhism and making himself as a good model of administrator can build the faith to the followers.

The concepts of disseminating Buddhism of Phrarajaphatcharaporn showed that the conceptual development of disseminating Buddhism is more interesting, the contents of Dhamma used suitably, presentation, the concept of practice, project of Dhamma training, appropriateness of each time of giving a sermon to make listeners clearly understand, and to create motivation for followers happy, which is much beneficial  in disseminating Buddhism. His disseminating Buddhism used Dhamma explanation and the method of the practice in Dhamma. Moreover, there was collecting data from his teachings. He was a unique person who interestingly applied techniques and methods of Dhamma explanation in varieties of occasions, which was much suitable in the current society and his techniques and methods of Dhamma explanation used as a model of new generation monks in giving sermons. The concepts of his disseminating Buddhism used in various occasions.

                  Similarity and difference of disseminating Buddhism of Phrarajaphatcharaporn.

Similarity is to bring a Buddhist way of disseminating Buddhism and a Buddhist way of the Buddha’s administration For difference, Phrarajaphatcharaporn interestingly applied technologies in disseminating Buddhism such as journal, handbook, CD and DVD to convenient in disseminating Buddhism in order to be exposed to the followers.
