ABSTRACT
The objectives of this research were to study the non-violence concept in the sacred books of Theravada Buddhism, to study the method of solving violence’s problems according to non-violence concept, and to study the result of solving violence’s problems according to non-violence concept of the Buddhist in Nonsa-at district, Udonthani province.
The result showed that, the non-violence concept means the principle of moral with the goal that was a stopping persecution with the physical, speech, action. Because of the desires, passion, endure, and view, Buddhism was presented are the model of conflict management with the method of mediation that was dissentient with the violence. The Buddha played the important role on using the non-violence concept in solving problems such as making the relationship, making the confidence, and making the cooperation with the litigant that had an effect of changing into the creativity and affected to the good development to all of accessory.
The Buddhist of Nonsa-at district, Udonthani province solved the violence’s problems according to the non-violence concept with the knowing clearly the affected apperception knowingly the things that affected, although it happened, they also restrained the emotions feeling. When the violence situation occurred they also used the method of conflict management with the peace fully reasonable talk for clear understanding between the litigant and team working, in order to grow love and sympathize with each other, stopping the vilification, stopping the harm to people and the things of another.
Beside that, they solved the violence’s problems according to non-violence concept; it had an effect to the one that was each one will be calm inside, having a goodwill to another, the effect to society that was the people in society always had a generousness, sacrifice, and kind to people around them. |
