Abstract

 

ABSTRACT

         This research is of 3 objectives namely (1) to study the principle of  the Four  Paths of Accomplishment in Theravãda Buddhist scriptures,  (2)  to analytically study the  activities to support the students’learning  which concerns the Four Paths of Accpmplishment, (3) to study the achievement to the students’ behaviors after using the principle of the Four Paths of Accomplishment to support the learning and the teaching for the third year students in 2011 C.E.    in the electrical division at  Phrae Technical College.   

         This research is conducted by the qualitative research, the documentary research methodology and the survey research. The population used in this research consists of 90 students in the third year vocational education in electrical division at Phrae Technical College where the students attended a Technical College in the educational year of 2011 and there are the selectied sampling teachers for the 8 advisors of each ativity.  The tools :  the questionnaire for the students and the interview 8 of teachers about the educational activities. The statistics used in data analysis is percentage, means, and standard deviation.

         From the researchy it is of form that 1) The principle of the Fours Path of Accomplishment brings to the success consiting of four cases namely  (1)  Chanda is the satisfaction with  the field in which aspiration is trying to work .  (2) Effort :  The effort is the devotion to work hard until the job is completed. (3) Citta :  Thoughfulness  is the influence of a person who is concerned with his job until finishing. (4) Vimamsã :  The investigation is found on the base of work, and the consideration to solve the problems which are the fair achievements that lead to success.     

 2) All activities have objectives concerning the Four Paths of Accomplishment. 3) The achievement affect the behaviors of the students who practices the Four Paths of Accomplishment  for learning the activities. Chanda is the students’ satisfaction, love, and faith in electrical division at the highest level. Viriya is effort to work hard and can solve the problems. Citta :  Thoughtfulness is the influence of a person who is concerned with their jobs until finishing. Vimamsã:  The investigation is found on the base of work,  and the trial to solve all the problems.

The results of this research asising to the students are that the students are of the behaviors in compliance with the Four Paths of Accomplishment. In the general point, the students are of the  behaviors in compliance with the prine ciples of the Four Paths of Accomplishment in high level with the diaviation of  4.25.
