ABSTRACT
This thesis is of 3 objective namely : (1) To study the personal biography and the outcome of the literary works written by Buddhadasa Bhikkhu (2) T o study the Doctrinal principles appearing in the literary works called Human Being’s Handbook written by Venerable Buddhadasa Bhikkhu (3) To study the value and the influence of Literary works called Human Being’s Handbook Developing the Human beings in Thai societies.
From the research it is found that in Theravada Buddhism in Thailand, There is the most important person called Buddhadasa Bhikkhu who had Studied Nakdham Ek and Pali 3. He stayed in the Uposatha Hall in Wat Rang – Tapancik, later on called Suan Mokkha. He studied the Tripitaka with good attention and brought the result of the conception to write as the Buddhist articles used in his teachings to the people. After that, his literary works were called the Following of the Way given by Arahantas From this book, it is found that Venerable Buddhadasa was born in August, 2475 B.E. After that there was a set of literary works called “Dhammaghosachan” which was the main literature toward the human beings’ minds. Moreover, this literature aims to develop the human beings. With Venerable Buddhadasa’s famous name about the literature at later age, He received the reward From the UNESCO. Moreover, there were many people studying and researching about his works From the research, it is found that Venerable Buddhadasa Bhikkhu, literature works were so valuable and much interesting.
The Doctrinal principle in literary works, which one the human Beings’ handbooks which were appreciate by many people were praised as the best books among the doctrinal literary works spread widely at the present time. The Doctrinal principles that Venerable Buddhadasa Bhikkhus brought to be used in training the groups of the judges were the most important Doctrinal principles in Buddhism. Venerable Buddhadasa Bhikkhu explained the doctrines in training the judges from the state of Sila Dhamma to Paramattha Dhamma which the judges must know because they must Dhamma. Besides, the judges must have high moralities to develop the lives and must be the exemplary persons, because the judges must rose idealism in the state of the justice. All the judges have the ways of solving the problem according to the teaching in Buddhism .The Doctrinal principles taught by ven Buddadasa Bhikkhu were: the Four Noble Truths, The There Characteristics, the Four Attachments, the Threefold Learnings and the Five Aggregates. All the Doctrinal principles brought to be tought by Venerable Buddadasa Bhikkhu cover all Pariyathi, Patpathi and Pativeda.
The value and influence of the literary works called the human beings handbooks are the universal principles in Buddhist teachings.
The said literature is of the result of the development by the human beings and is the way in solving the problem at every level ,because these doctrines confirm the human beings, behaviors and can applied to the solution of the daily problems the fact of which causes the stability to arise, causes the human beings to understand the state of life, causes the people to understand the principles of training themselves to able to live together happily by knowing themselves |
