ABSTRACT
This thesis is of 3 main objectives, namely : 1) To analytical Study the interpretation of the Padaparamapuggalas in the Buddhist Scriptures. 2) To study the interpretation of Padaparamapuggalas in the Thai scholars. 3) To analytical study the interpretation of Padaparamapuggalas in the Buddhist Scriptures and the Thai Scholars.
From the study and research, it is found that : The Padaparamapuggala in the Buddhist Scriptures means the person who cannot attain the Dhamma at the present,although,he is wise person or scholar person who get much in the practical experience or not, but if he cannot attain the Dhamma, he is called : Padaparamapuggala, however, he can be developed by the way of the Buddha.
The interpretation of Padaparamapuggalas in the Thai scholars can devided into 2 points, namely: the first meanings of Padaparamapuggalas means the person who cannot attain the Dhamma at the present, although, he is the wise or scholar person or not, however he can be developed through the way of the Buddha, this is the first point, it is interpreted through the development of virtures, the second meanings of Padaparamapuggalas means the person who cannot understand deeply in the way of Buddha as he has studied on the way of logic,although he is the scholar or not? and he cannot develope the virture to support attaining the Dhamma, this is the second point, it is interpreted through the development of education and practice. The first point of interpretation in the Thai scholars can be carried out according to the above mentioned principles as the Buddhist Scriptures, because it’s interpreted through the developemet of the virtures, but the second point of interpretation in the Thai scholars be like the cash of the interpretation in a some of the second of Buddhist scriptures, because it can be interpreted cover the both of meanings of Padaparamapuggala namely: it can be interpreted considering of development the vertures, education and also, however, this is the difference of the interpretation in the Thai scholar, but the difference of interpretation be likes a cash of difference of interpretation in a some of the second of Buddhist Scriptures. |
