Abstract
This research is to study relationship between the dependent origination (Paticcasamuppāda) and the five aggregates (Khandha) in insight meditation. It is of 3 objectives. To study main course about insight meditation in Theravada Buddhist Scriptures. To study the principle of Paticcasamuppāda and the five aggregates (Khandha). To study the relationship between the Paticcasamappāda and Pancakkhanda in developing Vipassanā Bhavanā. It is the study the data from the Tripitaka. Vinaya Pitaka, Sutthanta Pitaka and Abhidhamma Pitaka, Atthakatha, Tika, Visuddhimagga, different Buddhist literatures and the connected documents and other concerned scriptures, which are composed, explained, checked by the expert teachers.
From the study, it is found that Vipassanā Bhavanā in Theravada Buddhism is the development of wisdom to see bright the charactics of Anicca Lakkhana, etc., according to the principle of Mahasatipatthana Sutta by knowing the body, the feeling, the mind and the Dhamma. In short, it is to fix the mind to know the Form and the Norm.
Paticcasamuppāda and the five aggregates are classified to be the temperament of Vipassanā Bhavanā to extinguish all the sufferings and to attain the Dhamma, including knowledge of the truths in the world.
Paticcasamuppāpda and the five aggregates (Khandha) are of the relationship with each other in giving the suffering to people, and are classified in the types of Form and Norm. On the other hand Avijjā is of the relationship with the five aggregates and it hides the aggregates in the past, the present and the future. Moreover the speculation one of the Paticcasamuppāda is at same time to speculate the five aggregates at one and the same time. |
