Abstract
This thesis is to study of insight meditation teachings (Vipassanābhāvanā) : a case study of Phra Rajpariyatyakorn (Boonruang Sārado), aiming to study the insight meditation practice as appearing in sacred books of the Theravāda Buddhism and aiming to study the insight meditation teachings of Phra Rajpariyatyakorn (Boonruang Sārado) collect data by studying and searching the Tipiṭaka, Aṭṭhakathā Ṭikā and Visuddhimagga Scripture all of which are the connected texts which are composed, explained and verified by the experts.
From the study, it is found that the Mahāsatipaṭṭhāna-Sutta to be insight meditation, the purpose of the Buddha is the four Buddhist doctrine practice of insight meditation or mental. The aim of mindfulness meditation was the highest of Buddhism, The heart of Buddhism was without Passion and Suffering to be a true peace. It is the only one way because the Mahāsatipaṭṭhāna-Sutta is one way for without impurity; however, Practitioners much practice under the Four Foundations of Mindfulness comprising body, sensation, mind, and Dhamma.
The insight meditation teachings of Phra Rajpariyatyakorn are in accordance with the Tipiṭaka and Commentaries under the Four Foundations of Mindfulness comprising body, sensation, mind, and Dhamma, concentrating on abdomen upon inhalation and exhalation, and 6-stage gaits and inquiry of sense-objects of the practitioner which is the causes aiding, where there are insight meditation teachings in pursuance of the Four Foundations of Mindfulness as accepted and respected by philosophers and the Buddhist assemblies, both domestic and abroad. |
