For research titled “Problem in Environmental Conservation of the Monks in the Control Monk Region 9,” the objectives were:  1) to study the monks’ knowledge, comprehension, and attitude in conserving environment of the monks in the Regional Monk Control 9, and 2) to study the practice in conserving environment of the monks in the Control Monk Region 9,  by using Survey Research.  The instrument was Questionnaire. The population of this study included 30 great executive monks.  The target group included 30 monks in 6 Royal Provincial Temples of the Control Monk  Region 9.  The researcher sent 30 questionnaire to the population as 30 executives great monks, of the Control Monk  Region 9, 6 royal temples.  The researcher sent 30 questionnaires to population group as executive great monks in 6 Royal Temples, 5 issues each temple.  There were 25 returned questionnaires or 83.33%.  For research findings from each aspect, found that:

         For knowledge and comprehension in environmental conservation of the monks in Control Monk Region 9, found that most of them answer correctly for 11-15 items, or 54.17%.  For second order, they answered correctly for 6-10 items, or 45.83%.

       The  attitude towards of the  monks in the Control Monk Regional 9, on the environmental conservation, found that in overall, the monks’ attitude towards the environmental condition in “Agree” level.  Considering each aspect, found that there were 2 issues of attitude in “Highly Agree,” including the ancient object in the temple should include complete information, and the campaign for people to grow forest tree in the temple.  There were 23 issues of attitude in “Agree” level, 10 issues in “Not be Certain” level, 4 issues in “Did not Agree” level.  There were no attitude in “Very Disagree” level. 

          For guidelines of practice in the environmental conservation in temple, there were 3 guidelines:  the approach guideline, the management guideline, and the practice guideline.
