Abstract
The purposes of this research were to investigate 1) the development of computer assisted with instruction (CAI) in Buddhist studies of a basic of primary education and curriculum for primary education 3.5 and 6 level 2) to study students’ opinions toward the CAI.
The sample group was randomly selected class of 30 studies of a basic of primary education and curriculum for primary education 3, 5 and 6 levels during the academics year 2004. The duration of the experiment covered one period class session.
The instruments used for gathering data were: 1) the CAI program for studies of a basic of primary education curriculum for primary education 3, 5 and 6 level and 2) a questionnaire o opinion toward the CAI. The mean (X) and standard division (S.D) was used to achement of CAI and evaluates the student’s complacency toward the use of the CAI.
The results of the study wee as follows:
The primary education 3 level;
1) The average score of the CAI exercises was 84.43 percent, whereas of the posttest was 86.17 percent. This means that the CAI exercises construction were highly effective.
2) The student’ complacency toward the CAI exercises were generally excellent.
The primary education 5 level were:
1) The average score of the CAI exercises was 83.87 percent, whereas that of posttest was 84.26 percent. This means that CAI exercises construction were highly effective.
2) The student’s complacency toward the CAI exercises was generally excellent.
And the primary education six level;
1) The average score of the CAI exercises was 81.56 percent, whereas that of the posttest was 85.10 percent. This means that the CAI exercises construction were highly effective.
